The "Not So Common" Fair

Kennedy Austin 9/25/18 The “Not So Common” Fair Last week grades 5-8 went on a trip to the Common Ground Fair. There were a lot of activities and fun things to do, but one thing I think we all enjoyed was the food! I chose a great pizza and a smoothie and they were certainly different from food I would typically get from a fast food chain. The Fair is known for its organic produce and products. My smoothie had very delicious organic blueberries which is what made it so wonderful. The pizza had loads of fresh greens as well as mozzarella cheese. Sheep, goats, horses, cows and chickens were all at the fair too. It was great to spend the day outside and enjoy what the local farmers and crafts people had to offer.
